Luc's work started with curiosity. Long before it was a career, technology was the thing he took apart, rebuilt, and figured out — first for himself, then for family, friends, and neighbors who needed something fixed.

That instinct became a professional discipline: understand the problem before touching the tool. Today it shapes how he approaches every engagement, whether it is a family's only computer, a nonprofit's aging network, or a small business finally outgrowing improvisation.

Since 2015, Luc has built and led multiple ventures serving different needs — technology services through LAC Tech, nonprofit programming through The Luc Cochran Foundation, a Southern kitchen in Fayetteville through Bless Yo Belly, and animal welfare through Scale Sanctuary.

Each was started for the same reason: a real need showed up, and no one else was solving it well enough. Building without outside capital taught him to price honestly, scope carefully, and grow only where the work can be sustained.

Founding The Luc Cochran Foundation formalized a commitment Luc had been living for years. The Foundation's programs support education, mentorship, digital literacy, workforce readiness, and direct community assistance.

The philosophy is simple: pair help with capability. Tutoring meets mentorship, digital skills meet resume workshops, and food support meets connection to longer-term resources — so people leave with more than a one-time hand-off. Luc also serves as a Board Member of Clayton House Inc., a nonprofit in Jonesboro, Georgia providing recovery support, addiction services, and mental health support.

Luc is working toward a future where technology, education, and community support are accessible to everyone regardless of background — where a student's ZIP code does not decide whether they can learn to build, and a nonprofit's budget does not decide whether it can operate securely.

That future gets built organization by organization, partnership by partnership, and program by program.
